Preparation
- Shake the container of Asparagine Broth well.
- Suspend 13.5 grams of the medium in 1 liter of distilled water. Add 8 ml of glycerol. Mix well and dissolve by heating with frequent agitation.
- Autoclave at 121°C for 15 minutes.
- To obtain a double-strength broth, dissolve 27 grams of the medium and add 16 ml of glycerol.
STORAGE
The medium powder should be kept tightly closed and stored at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius, and the medium should be stored at a temperature of 2-8 degrees Celsius. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.
