C. Perfringens Selective Supplement (TSC)

Preparation

• Add 2 ml of distilled water to the TSC vial supplement and mix gently until the contents are completely dissolved.
• Sterilize the resulting solution with filter.
• Under sterile conditions, add the supplement to 500 ml of sterile and cooled TSC agar medium (i23229) at a temperature of 50 degrees Celsius.
• Mix well and pour into sterile Petri dishes.

STORAGE:

• Keep away from light.
• -20 degree Celsius.
