Pseudomonas Detection Kit

Application: These slides are used for the identification and counting of Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria in liquids or on surfaces.

Catalogue Number: AS-708

توضیحات

MicrobCheckTM Pseudomonas slides have a specific culture medium on one side of the slide and can identify Pseudomonas aeruginosa bacteria from water, food, and dairy samples. This kit is specialized and if Pseudomonas aeruginosa is present in the sample, its colonies will appear green. The other side has a rich agar culture medium with a special formulation, making it easy to count the number of aerobic microorganisms present in a liquid or surface sample. TTC present in the culture medium of these slides reacts with enzymes produced during bacterial aerobic respiration, causing the colonies’ color to change from white to red, making counting easier.

Kit specifications: The surface under investigation on each slide is 8 square centimeters.

Expiration date: 6 months after production

Storage condotions: Storage of the MicrobCheck Pseudomonas slides should be at a temperature of 4-8 degrees Celsius and away from direct sunlight to prevent frosting of the slides.

Test

Liquid Sampling: After removing the sterile Falcon slide, immerse it into the liquid being tested. Then remove the slide and gently shake it to remove any excess liquid from the slide surface. Afterwards, return the slide back into the Falcon tube and close the tube tightly.

Surface sampling: Remove the slide from the sterile falcon and place it in direct contact with the surface under investigation. The contact between the two surfaces should be in a way that the Agar medium on the slide is completely spread on the surface under investigation to have the maximum bacterial transfer.

Incubation: Place the slides at a temperature of 25-37 degrees Celsius for 24-48 hours.

Important note: Slides must be autoclaved or incinerated after use. You can also immerse them in a 10% bleach solution for 24 hours.
