Description
Meat extract is prepared from parts of animal tissue that are free of fat, tendon, and ligament. This extract undergoes weak proteolysis with pancreatin. Meat extract is usually used in culture media in quantities of about 0.3 – 1%. Meat extract is particularly suitable for culturing lactic acid bacteria.
STORAGE:
The container should be kept away from direct light and at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.
