Description

The yeast extract powder is the water-soluble part of autolyzed yeast. Yeast extract is a very good stimulant for bacterial growth. The autolysis process of yeast, which is used to produce yeast extract, is completely controlled in a way that preserves its B vitamins. Yeast extract is usually used in a concentration of about 0.3-0.5% in culture media and is a source of nitrogen, carbon, vitamins, and amino acids.

 

STORAGE:

The yeast extract container is tightly sealed, kept away from direct light, and stored at temperatures below 30 degrees Celsius. The best time to use is before the expiration date printed on the product label.
